2008 Mountain Buggy Urban Double: Love at first push

Mountain Buggy recently sent me their 2008 Urban Double Stroller ($899)(dubbed the MBUD by parents in the know) to test out. Mountain Buggy, made in New Zealand, is a wonderful, strong stroller brand that will handle anything in its path. The company says, "We were built to last, to handle the roughest of terrains or the most extreme of conditions. Our products have been designed to be durable and immensely practical, living and breathing the values of strength and safety".

Celebrities who love their Mountain Buggies are Russell Crowe, Elisabeth Hasselbeck, and Molly Shannon.

Silver Cross Dazzle: Show off your dazzling side

We'd like to introduce you to a marvelous, new stroller from Silver Cross. The Silver Cross Dazzle ($299) is an amazing lightweight stroller that offers style and luxury in one simple frame. Silver Cross has long been known for their fabulous, luxury infant prams, the Kensington ($1800) and the Balmoral ($2500), yes you read right, these prams cost upwards of $1700! With a price tag like that, you can only imagine the Hollywood elite who have pushed them. Orbit Baby: A space age stroller for the new millenium

If you're the kind of person who thinks that spending more than $500 on a stroller is unfathomable no matter how many bells and whistles it has, you might want to skip this review.   

The Orbit Baby Infant System is the stroller I wish I had when Anya was born. But I was still able to try it out because the car seat accommodates up to it's approved for use up to 22 pounds and 29 inches. As long as your child's shoulders are below a green line sewn towards the top of the car seat, you are fine still using it. Most children actually get moved too soon from their infant seats because they "look" too big for it.

The main selling points are ease of transition from strolling to driving, full integration with other products, and high level of safety.

Yes, a ton of celebrities have the Orbit, but that's not why I love it. (But in case you're curious, Melissa Joan Hart, Marcia Cross, Halle Berry, Poppy Montgomery, Nicole Richie, Naomi Watts, Tori Spelling, Bridget Moynahan, Jaime Pressly, Goran Visnjic, Elvis Costello and Diana Krall, Salma Hayek, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Christina Aguilera, and so on and so forth...)

Maclaren 4 Seasons Stroller: A year-round adventure buggy

I like my strollers to be as fashionable as they are functional and sometimes this is a problem. I don't want babyish carton characters on my stroller and I don't want bubblegum pink or baby blue. And I have a love-hate relationship with lightweight strollers -- mainly stemming from how easily they tip backwards. So it was by sheer coincidence that I stumbled across the Maclaren 4 Seasons Stroller. And I haven't stopped staring at it since. This stroller is a marvel and beauty and holds other stroller manufacturers to a higher standard.

Celebrities who have been spotted pushing Maclaren strollers include, Michelle Williams, Cate Blanchett, Heidi Klum, Anna Friel, Jennifer Garner, Adam Sandler, Melissa Joan Hart, Melania Trump, Eddie Vedder and Maggie Gyllenhaal, to name a few.

BOB Revolution: You say you want a revolution ...

I'm part of a mommy group and we spend a lot of time together -- Most of that time is spent chatting away. You can only assume that more than half of our conversations have to do with our children. So when the topic switched to strollers the other day I wasn't surprised, but I WAS surprised at what stroller was the current must-have ... the BOB Revolution. Yes, you heard right, not a Bugaboo, not an Orbit, but a BOB! The best point made in the conversation is that this stroller is almost mislabeled. Yes, it IS a jogging stroller, but it's also so much more. They all agreed hands down they wished they had bought this stroller first and saved all their money on random other stroller purchases!

Quinny Buzz: The buzz is in, this stroller rocks

The Quinny Buzz is a versatile stroller that allows for the seat to be flipped from front to rear facing. Most notable are probably the fold and unfold of the stroller. The fold, unlike many reversible seat strollers, allows for the seat to remain on the stroller and also folds very flat. The unfold of the stroller is nothing short of ingenious, with a simple pull of the handle bar it unfolds itself thanks to a gas-spring mechanism.

Stokke Xplory: Space age meets stroller

Stokke is a company that believes in having a baby close to you and how that will help further develop and foster your bond. And they carry this concept through all of their consumer products, from stroller to high chair to changing table.

The Stokke Xplory is one of the most amazing strollers I've ever laid eyes on, both in what it can do and how it looks while it does it. This stroller is as much a conversation piece as it is functional, and believe me it does both really well.
